Only one team from Roanoke College competed in the 2014 CCSC programming competition. This year the team of Derek LaFever, Thomas Lux, Natalie Wilkinson, and Randall Pittman placed fourth out of 31 teams. Research Students Win Competition
Several Roanoke College students presented their
research from the Summer of 2013 during the Student
Research Competition at the CCSC South-eastern regional
conference. Maya Shende, a Sophomore Mathematics, Physics,
and Computer Science major placed second overall. The team
of Thomas Lux and Randall Pittman, both Sophomores from
the Computer Science department, placed
first overall.
